What is the difference between an squire and a fender bass?
i am going to buy a bass, more specificly a p-bass. ive been looking and there are both squires and fenders, but squire is a lot cheaper. from what ive heard, squire is a branch-off of Fender, but fenders are just better made. any truth to this? which do you prefer? which should i get?
From all the knowledge i know Fenders just have better quality guitars. Quality could mean wood (wood can change sound of instrument), neck feelings.. all kind of stuff like that. Pick- ups also may be different (pick ups gives the sound of the guitar)
I would personally get a Fender P-Bass if i wanted the best quality.. not saying you can't get a squire though because i started off with one and then i moved on to a epiphone. If you were a beginner you could start off with something cheap and then move on to more expensive stuff.
