hey guys, im about to buy a lefty Ibanez GRG170DXL, cause i have been told its best for my music taste (metal)
i was wondering if there were any specific music books that could teach me to play metal music.. and how good they are...

it all depends on you Ive tried using books all they did is frustrate me what you need is a teacher and a lot of self discipline the best thing to do is learn a simple song and then sit down and play it over and over and over again until you can play it with out even thinking about it also learning you neck is important i use to lay down in my room in the dark and just strum away practicing songs i knew so i never had to watch my hand same goes for singing you start talking to people or watching TV while you play so you dont have to think about what you are doing best of luck to you and dont give up
