What is the best Ibanez Tube Screamer which gives that Metallica sound?
I have a Fender Blues Junior amp and an OCD pedal. I plan to use a clean amp sound, and add distortion with my OCD pedal and a Tube Screamer. So which one should I get?
If you're looking for that Metallica sound, save up for some active pick-ups and a Mesa amp. Otherwise, the classic TS-9 works great (go with the Maxon if you're interested in true bypass.)
And, if you have a little more dough, look into Analogman (or Robert Keeley) for modications on the TS-9.
